Our last campaign did not do so well as expected. Still we invested in fabrics. Today, we do not have the money to keep MOVA operational. We decided to sell everything we have in stock. Then we will shut down our operations nicely.
We are not giving up. But we need to stop, think and change.

Dear Cycling Family,
First of all thank you for all your kind messages over the last weeks. We felt supported in our decisions to take a break with MOVA right now.
Secondly, our website is down right now and we have not answered some messages for a couple of days (30 days... sorry for that). It could look as if we are walking away but let me reassure you.
Production of the jackets just started yesterday. We are cutting the fabrics and planing the shipping right now.
Shutting down the operations of a 6 years project in order to take a sabbatical year is hard and implies tones of things we did not imagine at first.
One thing is now sure: the production started, the delivery is on its way for September (finger crossed we meet our timeline this year)
Last, we have had an unprecedented issue with the Shoe Covers fabrics (shortage of the fabrics needed to make the Shoe Covers) and indeed 21 backers could not fulfil correctly their Backerkit Surveys.
We will not be able to produce those Shoe Covers unfortunately. So we will offer to exchange your Shoe Covers for others products we still have in stock. We will offer good solutions for everyone, no worries.
Again, I apologise for the lack of responses on Kickstarter's wall. Just after publishing the update I am answering every message over there as well.
I understand you would prefer a refund right now but it's not an option for us as the cash flow is too tight to offer it at this point of the project. Thank you for your understanding.

Shipping Fees Updated

Dear Cycling Family,
The Backerkit surveys are out in the air.
Due to the volatility of shipping prices globally right now, we had to update shipping fees. It's linked the rising oil prices. We now need to charge 19$ for Europe and the Rest of the World and 10$ for USA.
Thank you for your understanding.
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
For exemple, if you need to update your shipping address, you will be able to do so.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under “Lost your survey?” on our BackerKit project page at https://mova-full-waterproof.backerkit.com/

Dear Cycling Family,
Once we have delivered everything to you guys, we are to taking a sabbatical year in order to rest, travel, think, ride bike, and develop the new cycling bag !
It's quite exciting :)
In order to deliver your pledges, we need to collect some information from you guys.
Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You will be able to buy someof our products we have in stock at the production cost. It's literally the best promo we have ever done on our products.
We only have a few units left, so be sure to grab what you need before we shut down our operations :)
Regarding shipping, backers from US and Colombia have already the shipping included in their Kickstarter pledge. Everywhere else, the shipping is 9$, nothing more even when you order plenty of products.
So get as many addons as you need since your shipping costs are already included.

From Paris Streets To The Equatorian Mountains!

Red Jacket In The Mountains !
Dear Cycling Family,
We just received this picture from the MOVA Jacket in the Equatorian Mountains. And it worked great. We did not design it at first for this purpose but... it just happened !
Literally use it at 5000m meters. You can see how he's using the hood to protect his neck from the cold.
And the Kickstarter Campaign is still running.
Our goal is crushed. You made it. Thank you !
The production is on its way.
And the campaign is already almost over.
Holy Moly, Time Flies!
There's only 7 days left so if you have some friends interested in cycling, it would be helpful to share with them the project.
We can't thank you enough for your support here on Kickstarter. Both for supporting and sharing it.
Regarding the Orange Jacket color, we would have needed over 250 orders only in orange to be able to produce this specific color.
Since the total quantity of backers is 132 (right now) it's quite unlikely that we are able to produce the Orange Jacket.
Regarding the timeline and the production schedule we are on time. We are working to make this happen as soon as possible.

Kickstarter Prices just got lowered!
Dear Cycling Family,
There's only are 6 days for our this Kickstarter Campaign!
Although we met our Kickstarter goal and are already working on the production, we did not break records! Our last Kickstarter Campaign hit 120k and the MOVA 3.0 over 160k!
We thought our pricing might be too high, so we are adapting to this new situation.
So for the last 6 days, we lowered the price of the MOVA 4.0 to $169 and of the Rain Pants to $149 by creating a new reward category.
If you had already placed a pledge, you can easily edit your pledge in order to select the new reward with a lower price without any problem.
If you want to support our company, you can remain in the same pledge level.
Although we are not as many cyclist as usually, we will take care of every single of one you as you deserve: an everyday cycling hero.
